Sports Premium
The PE and Sport Premium is a grant designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils. In most cases, the amount of funding is determined by the number of pupils in the school using data from the January school census.
- Schools with 17 or more pupils receive £16,000 plus £10 per pupil.
Schools must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer. This means that schools should use the Primary PE and Sport Premium to:
- Develop or add to the PE and sport activities that our school already offers
- Build capacity and capability within the school to ensure that improvements made now will benefit pupils joining the school in future years.
Each year, the school is required to report on how much funding it has received and how this has been spent. This information is included it the school's Sports Premium Report which can be downloaded below.
