Safeguarding
Shottermill Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children at our school which is reflected in our Core Values of Trust, Respect and Communication. Our recent Ofsted inspection stated that
“Pupils feel safe in school. They are unaware of any bullying and say that
adults care for them and make them feel safe.”
We expect all staff and volunteers to share in our commitment to keeping children safe and observe the wide range of safeguarding measures we have in place. All staff and volunteers have DBS checks and visitors are signposted to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) staff members through our safeguarding notices displayed around our school.
Key safeguarding policies, including our Child Protection Policy, are available for parents to download below.
If you would like to communicate a safeguarding concern you can ask to speak with a DSL or alternatively please email: dsl@shottermill-jun.surrey.sch.uk
